MRI LIVER FIBROSIS DEVICE EPoC CLINICAL TRIAL
PRELIMINARY RESULTS WEBINAR
Resonance Health Ltd (Resonance or Company) (ASX: RHT) expects to release the preliminary
results of its Non-invasive MRI Liver Fibrosis Medical Device extended-proof-of concept (EPoC)
clinical trial on Wednesday 28 October 2026.
Investors are invited to join a webinar hosted by Andrew Harrison, MD & CEO, and Dr Wenjie Pang,
Chief Scientific OVicer, on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Australian Western (Perth)
Time (AWST).
As reported previously, the initial proof-of-concept for this highly prospective new technology
showed strong predictive capability to identify liver fibrosis (see ASX release, 21 Dec 2022). The
EPoC clinical trial is more extensive than the initial trial and is a critical inflection point in the
roadmap towards certifying a new non-invasive MRI-based liver fibrosis medical device.
Liver disease is a leading cause of mortality worldwide. Most notably, these diseases include
metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction-
associated steatohepatitis (MASH); the most common liver diseases worldwide aVecting an
estimated one-quarter of the world’s population1
.
Early identification of liver fibrosis is essential to managing liver disease. The current gold
standard for identifying and assessing liver fibrosis – liver biopsy – is invasive and comes with
various risk and cost factors which are largely mitigated by using non-invasive methods.
Andrew Harrison, MD & CEO said:
“I invite you to join us for the release of our preliminary results from our MRI liver fibrosis device
EPoC clinical trial as we talk though the trial, methods and key outcomes”.

§ FerriScan®, a core-lab product that provides an accurate assessment of liver iron concentration
(LIC) through non-invasive MRI-based technology, for use in the assessment of individuals with iron
overload conditions. Internationally recognised as the gold standard in LIC assessment.
§ FerriSmart®, an AI-trained, non-invasive MRI-based device for the automated real-time assessment
of LIC in participants, calibrated against the global gold standard, FerriScan®.
§ HepaFatScan®, an MRI-based solution which provides a reliable non-invasive assessment of liver-
fat in liver tissue for use in the assessment of individuals with confirmed or suspected fatty-liver-
disease.
§ HepaFatSmart ®, an AI-trained, non-invasive device for the automated real-time multimetric
assessment of liver-fat in participants, for the assessment of individuals with confirmed or
suspected fatty liver disease.
§ LiverSmart®, an AI-trained, non-invasive MRI-based multi-parametric device combining FerriSmart®
and HepaFat-AI® into a consolidated report providing accurate assessment of LIC and liver fat.
